Every Track, Every Angle: What $40 a Month Actually Buys You at TrackSmart AI

I've written before about the 3-Minute Edge and about handicapping smarter instead of longer. Both of those posts were about giving you back your time. This one is about what you get when I do the work for you entirely — and what that's actually worth.

A couple of months ago we started the full daily output of TrackSmart AI as a $40/month subscription on Substack. Not a sample. Not a teaser card. The complete, race-by-race analysis I run for myself, every single day, on four or more tracks — and on a busy Saturday or Sunday, that number climbs to eight or nine.

What's actually in a report

I want to show you, not just tell you. Take last Friday's Presque Isle card. Race 1 was a 6-furlong claimer with nine entrants and a favorite, Snowname, sitting at 3/1. Buried in the field at 10/1 was Minister for Magic — a six-year-old dropping hard in class off a cold betting line. On paper, an afterthought.

The report didn't treat him like one. The engine flagged him under what I call the Hidden Class protocol: a horse whose baseline ability was disguised by a bad turf sprint line, now getting the class relief and the garden trip to expose it. TPN of 100, Top tier, and — this is the part that matters to your wallet — an AI Fair Odds line of 7/2 against a 10/1 morning line. That's not a hunch, it's a flagged Live Overlay, called out explicitly in the Overlay Gatekeeper Audit section of the report, with the reasoning laid out in plain English: massive class-capacity edge, ideal tracking spot, resilient inside speed on a track that was clearly playing to it that card.

That's the shape of every race in every report: projected fractions and pace shape, a full horse-by-horse breakdown of the Top 4 (form cycle, trainer/jockey combo, track-and-distance fit, trip angles, special angles), a field summary for the rest, a final rankings and value board, and an overlay audit that tells you exactly where the price is wrong. Nine races at Presque Isle, and every one gets that same treatment. Multiply that by every track I cover on a given day, and you're looking at a genuinely enormous amount of handicapping handed to you before you've opened a program.

More than one way to cash

The daily race reports are the foundation, but they're not the whole subscription. Every day, you also get the AI's Multi-Race Wager Bet of the Day — a Pick 3, Pick 4, or Daily Double built off the model's own anchor logic, with complete alternate tickets so you're never guessing what to do if the top pick doesn't fire. And you get the Exacta Box Play of the Day — never a lazy box of my top three TPN horses, but a box built specifically around a genuine price overlay, so you're not just betting for a hit, you're betting for value. I built both of those as dedicated engines precisely because "who's live" and "what's the smartest way to bet it" are two different questions, and most services only answer the first one.

Why I'm comfortable putting a number on it

I don't ask anyone to take the Top 4 strike rate on faith. Across 2,936 graded races tracked from December through May, the model's Top 4 selections included the actual winner 80.1% of the time, with an average win payout around $8.25. That's the same standard I've held this engine to since the first post I wrote about it, and it's the standard the subscription is built on — not a lucky week, a running, transparent track record including the misses.

Do the math on $40 a month against four-plus fully worked cards a day, every day, plus two bonus plays: it works out to less than a large coffee for a full day's worth of work I used to spend hours doing by hand. I didn't build TrackSmart AI to replace the art of handicapping — I built it to hand you a running start on every card, every day, so the time you do spend is spent on the part that's actually fun: making the final call.

You don't have to take my word for any of this.
